Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path

Psalm 119:105

The first verse of this beautiful song says:

Like the woman at the well I was seeking

For the things that could not satisfy;

And then I heard my Savior speaking:

"Draw form my well that never shall run dry".

I read on a bulletin board that "Health is Wealth" and you will never know how true that is until you have been sick.  You can't buy health.  Now you can buy things and go to doctors that can guide you to getting well, but as far as purchasing a pack of unclogged arteries, well we both know the answer to that.    The same is true with God.  The world that we live in can offer many things that can pacify our immediate needs and wants.  We can buy houses, lands, fine fragrances, foods, and clothes to fill up our lives and homes.  After you have purchased all these things for your physical eye, there is a thirsting in every soul that needs to be filled by God.  A thirsting for peace, direction and purpose, being truly loved, being whole and not one of these can be purchased with money and cannot be satisfied with drugs, money, sex, food, nothing .....nothing and nobody but God can fill these places.  Think....what you are thirsting for today?  If you know or even if you don't know, ask the Lord today to fill your cup.  There is a wholeness in God - won't you lift up your heart today and ask Him to quench the thirsting in your soul.......

Peace, Jane

Psalm 139:7-10(NIV)

7 Where can I go from your Spirit?    Where can I flee from your presence?8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;    if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,    if I settle on the far side of the sea,10 even there your hand will guide me,    your right hand will hold me fast.
